The open interest on Netscape July calls is extraordinary.

However I do not get your logic on the necessity of a price drop by expiry being a consequence. The large positions spell "institutional interest" and I suspect that a considerable number of shares will move to that group upon exercise. I have bought this stock because I believe that management are not so stupid to realize that they must act to ally themselves with a Time Warner and soon. Netscape is probably on a number of radar screens at this time as a target.
