<ot>Hi Carl - yes, I think the fall out [literally :)] is subject to investigation. If the allegation about the particular handler is correct, indeed it is fraud. However, I find it interesting the hawkeyes noticed the chads on the floor but didn't stop the perpetrator immediately. So, I am skeptical about the circumstance. Is it possible? Yes, but it will take quite some time to get 75 chads on the floor [it is fair to assume at least 75 ballots were inspected manually, yes?]

With regard to Sec Harris, I think it is equally distasteful if Gore staff attacks her. However, the article I sent you was really from the Washington Post. While I maintain the media tendency to incite, I think skepticism goes both ways. That very fact that she is using Gov Jeb Bush's connection leaves herself open for criticism. Is the criticism legitimate? Not entirely, since she has indeed got caught between a rock and a hard place. Can she do better from the image standpoint? Probably. But then, if she did try to be more even toned do that, there were probably other traps lying in the wake.

best, Bosco
