It is the next 4 quarters revs and earnings estimates.

EG Intel's financial year ends in Dec but for the purposes of this thread the PS and PE are calculated by adding estimates for Jun 02, Sep 02, Dec 02 and Mar 03

That way we get to compare valuation ratios for all the companies over the same 1 yr forward time period. That is a better solution than using the financial yr estimates which would have you comparing Intel's yr 9 mths away with Qualcom's which is 6 mths away.
