I'm glad my efforts amused you. I enjoy making people laugh but even more I love the truth! Therefore I can't take credit for the quotes you found silly. I was quoting from a letter sent by Mr. Mata to Fenway. I certainly did not find his comments amusing . His decision to endorse the project if the indigenous people were compensated for financial losses seems to be make sense to me. I hope you did not mean to imply that I made up the quote? I had a copy of his original letter and a translation. Mr. Mata has denied sending the letter! If Mr. Mata has changed his position, how great an influence will he have on the council if he in fact has indicated his lack of objections in the past?

I have been assured by Fenway that they have always conducted themselves by the highest ethical standards and with the greatest respect to the indigenous population. They stand by their releases and are confident that the letter in their position bears Mr. Mata's true signature and the translation is accurate. I believe in the professionalism of the key individuals in Fenway to whom I have spoken . In addition their partners in the Philippines are major players in international financing and project management. I have confidence in

It is interesting that you feel that the indigenous population would be insulted by my "silly effort". In the latest communication from Fenway the people of the area were insulted when they were shown a copy of a release from Fenway which had the heading "Damm Indians". Fenway has charged that this insulting heading was added by a publication call Canada Stock Watch, and brought to the attention of the Palawan Council at the latest meeting ! The editor ( John Woods) of Stock Watch was asked by Fenway to apologize to the Philippine people. Now you suggest I (and typical Fenway supporters) insulted the natives of Palawan, and mention that we should read the latest article in Stock Watch . Has the editor of Stock Watch apologized or have they attacked Fenway and stressed the resentment felt by their natives at the article which has been attributed to Fenway? I am interested in seeing the Stock Watch article. Can they represent an unbiased observer after their article? Do they mention the large number of shorts in the stock, and the concerns by many brokers in Vancouver who stand to lose if the project goes through? Have they or you requested a copy of Tito Mata's letter or the Affidavit I mentioned? You or they may be amused by the letter, I am only encouraged by it.

My friends and I must thank you and the Stock Watch people for the opportunity to buy more Fenway at these prices. Be assured that I will think only kind thoughts of you and your Crusade for the opportunity!
