"I’m certainly no computer security expect but I suppose it’s possible that someone in his apartment was fishing for WiFi signals and caught his. Unless his connection was encrypted (and maybe even if it was), I’m told there is a way to backtap into the host computer. Apparently hackers do this all the time (big problem at airport lounges and other WiFi “hotspots” like Starbucks) to get into the host computer and steal info. Don’t know if that’s what happened here but it sounds very suspicious!"
