Conspiring with foreign enemies against domestic rivals ... sounds wrong to me. the Reagan people weren't talking to the Iranians telling them to hold their American hostages until AFTER the election in 1980???? Right? Yes, I will say that. Liberals pushed that conspiracy theory despite no evidence ... I think they thought, hey, WE would do it. Some real problems with this is .... 1) why would Iranians conspire with Reagan? 2) Why wouldn't they use the evidence of this conspiracy to blackmail or embarrass Reagan?
