Yes, that is what you said and now when I reread it I see I made a mistake. However, my mistake proved to be very serendipitous. Your link to Applesource convinced me I shouldn't try to grow a Cox's Orange Pippin apple tree. I live within 100 miles of Chapin, IL and the summers here are to warm for Cox's Orange Pippin. Applesource will be a great source for obtaining samples of different varieties of apples and recommendations on which varieties of apples are suitable for Central Illinois. I am particularly interested in growing some thing different than Delicious and McIntosh apple trees.
