Whoops! I guess I misunderstood your husband's position at AA. I somehow thought he was a pilot. Well, let's just say it's the thought that counts? I didn't think the demand to fly the regional jets was a reasonable position, and did not support the pilots. AA couldn't remain competitive, and jobs would be taken away from Eagle pilots as well. I am a reservations sales agent at Continental. Continental management is presently in negotiations with the pilots to develop a new contract, but CO's management has so far fostered nothing but goodwill since Gordon Bethune became CEO, so I expect talks will go fairly smoothly.
