I thought I posted this yesterday, but the message went up in smoke apparently. I also realize this probably isn't the exact place to post this request, but I have to start somewhere.

Long ago I set up a Facebook account, used it briefly until I decided I didn't want it after all. I don't recall what I did to deactivate it but I followed Facebook's directions. Now, I think I want to get back with it. Facebook tells me they already have an account associated with my email address. I went through the "change my password" routine with them. I got a message asking me to prove my identity by confirming my birthdate, which I did. Now, they tell me it doesn't agree with their record and puts me into an endless loop of entering my date, told it doesn't agree, reenter date...... loop, loop, loop.

Are there any Facebook experts out there who might be able to help me fix this? I don't have another email address to start over with and I don't want to create one just for Facebook. Thanks for any suggestions.
