I apologize. I think it was my questions that fostered what occurred here to some extent. I didn't stick to the threads purpose of prayer and praise. The reason being that things seemed so congenial here.

I really was seeking whatever point of view would be offered on the question I asked. Not to judge Darrin or anyone here -- I will try to confine my posts to the original purpose of the thread.

I believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son -- His atoning death and physical resurrection -- which I hope to share in some day. His words are the end of every dispute. He has received all authority. Let him accept it who will and let all who accept it be welcome here.

I do not take Darrin's words as threatening, though I cannot agree with them as consistent with a straighforward understanding of the teachings of Jesus, but such discussions ought to take place elsewhere.

Sorry for anyone who has been offended or irritated at the discussion that ensued as a result of my question here. I will pursue this or other matters elsewhere.
