Oh, well, somebody may have made a lot of money buying it from oil cos and reselling it now...

Regarding environmentalism. I am strong supporter of WWF and other environmental organizations, but if we get the huge peak-oil falloff, all environmentalism goes down the toilet. If John and Jane Smith won't have gas for their car and food on their table, no one will care about canyons, rivers or forests. Survival will become priority one.
