I agree with your rendition of DIPY's level of operation with the ISI. Calling him an Agent is like anointing a low level employee with someone in a serious role.

Coming back to the substantive matter of the day, I still visualize that MushHead is pragmatic enough to understand that the high risk he is prone to take and has taken has not paid and will not pay. This time, he must have been saddened to note that he could not even pull out his dead soldiers from Kargil, lest the rest of the world would know that Pak Army was operating, while Indian Air Force had pounded them. They had to pull out because they were being beaten badly on the ground and decimated diplomatically. I think Sharif cheated, first by aligning with the generals, and then by maligning them. In any case, it is better for India to deal with the real team (the Pak Army) rather than their puppet.
