I just don't know how you can do a meaningful poll when no one knows what's going on with it. It is sort of absurd.

I have been busy the last little while and haven't followed this issue closely but AFAIK, the details on the proposal remain sketchy at best, do they not? If so, how could anyone know whether they think it is a good idea or not?

Seems sort of ridiculous to me.
