Saddling Homeowners With Risky Loans

Odd title. As if the loans were forced on the borrowers against their wishes.

And of course last time home loans lending standards and practices became a big political issue it was the politicians pushing to open up standards to make loans more available to people who might be borderline borrowers. Now that that exploded the pendulum swings towards locking things down more. Either way the politicians and regulators supposedly can pick the right way for loans to be made since thew know what should be done so much better then those involved with the actual borrowing and lending...
