Couple of nits; one when I attach a pdf to an email. I can send the email, but before I can trash the PDF, I have to quit Mail.

I don't have that problem unless the pdf is large and the email has not been completely sent. Check the activity of Mail to confirm the sending to be complete.

Wrt to Snow Leopard, haven't had any issue other than Java 1.4 not being installed but even this has now been resolved by my bank.
