I think the problem arises if you put in orders that trigger a debit balance in the IRA account. I may find out soon enough, since my IRA account is $1.90 short, looks like, but I haven't heard anything yet. Usually if I make a mistake, they simply refuse the trade, but you could probably do things rapidly enough to create a noticeable deficit.

I bought and sold a block of BKP the day that the Hunt offer came--purely by chance.
