I read your profile, because I couldn't imagine what sort of person would post such a reasoned reply. If you are actually tenured at UCLA I hope that your classroom presentations are more polished than your email. Do you actually know anything about the enterprise software sector, or do you just do what the "smart money" does? Are these the "smart people" that can't beat the DJI consistently? How is it that these "smart people" get their information? Is it through the industry analysts that about half the time don't know any more about the industry than the reporters that cover it? Did you get your PhD in English before or after the one in Economics? I've never seen the construction "flush your profits" before, so I am wondering where you got your English degree...
