One seldom spoken but harsh aftermath of Falluja is that it can be 'example' to the leadership in other towns and cities of what can happen the next time the interim iraqi govt comes a calling and they do nothing. The incentive for the people of each city and town will be to do something before these fighters can establish themselves amongst the innocent civilians. A cruel but necessary tactic in this war where it seems all semblance of decency has died from the jihadis long ago.
