THE statesman

Though it's a tough one to apply to many - I have always prefered the definition of "statesman"...

A male political leader regarded as a disinterested promoter of the public good.

Any example of Arafat doing this in the last decade?

Over the last decade - while Suha was pulling the "Denise Rich" thing - attending fashion shows, flying around in her private jet and paying off Chirac, Fischer and other EU friends... Mr. Arafat did not even build a single school for his people.

Accepting Oslo would have changed that...

Right about now Arafat's soul is being broiled at a slightly higher temperature than Ed Said's.
