Kevin, I wouldn't go so far as to say Rosie is TOTALLY harmless. I agree with you in that he has little impact when comparing him to the real bashers.... here's my take on Rosie and his influence on the thread... Rosie has provided some of the most colorful commentary this thread has ever seen....he's given us a lot of laughs and provided for much entertainment on days that would have otherwise been slow. In many ways he has provided this thread with the cohesive structure that has been displayed these past few days. I appreciate Rosie's honesty....he flip flops...depending on his goal in the pursuit of MONEY..(why we're ALL here). When he owns shares, he's the best cheerleader we have and when he sells...he tries to shake the weak hands into selling so that he can buy up some more at a lower price...very calculating and I'm sure profitable for him. On one hand I can admire him in that he appears to be successful in both fronts..but as a long, I dislike and disapprove of these tactics. IMO, as respect to all others, if a person wants to take a profit, that's great but don't hurt other's investments in the process. All stocks will dip and peak, it would be much more appreciated if he would just quietly buy on a dip...but rather he tries to hurry along the process and scare people into selling. In this respect Rosie does have a negative impact on the thread and the share price BUT it is only TEMPORARY...unlike the true bashers...they park themselves on a thread for weeks on end, with the sole purpose of driving away investors...and this is the point I believe Kevin was trying to make when he referred to Rosie as harmless....the fact that he is just a temporary annoyance.
