Venezuela is no longer "quasi democratic". Since Chavez took over and started his
"Revolucion Bolivariana" it is now a "quasi Marxist Lenninist" country in our backyard,
and it is on its way to join the "complete" ML that we have 90 miles South of
Florida,(Some people still call that one Cuba, I have called it "Fidelandia" for some time.

It's funny and it's sad...

While he eats Filet Mignon and lives in the old Dupont estate his people continue to suffer... After he's gone, his brother Raul will be no bargain either... Perhaps the tough words that Bush had for Mainland China regarding the U.S. backing of Taiwan, may be indicative of a tougher post Fidel policy towards Cuba...
