Dang Dabum(g) You may be a better
contrarian than me!! At the very least, when you get the buzz? You you're more of a plunger and an averager as often happens when you pass into your later 50s like ole Iso.
Hey, partner. Wish I was 40 again(GGG). Especially, knowing what I know now!!
But, when the bones get chalky there is a quite joy in less frequent trading and from the laid back emotional tone that goes with averaging in and out of markets.
Posted to Q earlier today that I've warmed to some of there ops the market has been serving up in recent days in the context of more bearishness than I've seen in weeks on a number of threads.
Did put on a good size position in REMC today. Although Don brought it up on the thread, what got me interested and to be honest impressed me more than their predominant focus in civilian communications, is their defense and aerospace biz. They have important contracts already in place for key weapons systems:
"...providing communication systems, subsystems and integrated components to defense programs which the Company believes have the highest probability of follow-on production. Its products are integrated into various defense tactical aircraft, satellites, missile systems and smart weapons comprise the majority of the platforms of its customers. The systems, subsystems and integrated components are comprised of specialized combinations of components that perform a variety of microwave functions, including filters, couplers, power dividers switches, amplifiers, VCOs, mixers and multipliers, among others.
Defense industry programs for which the Company provides communication systems, subsystems and integrated components include the F-22 Stealth Tactical Fighter Aircraft program for the U.S. Air Force; the Integrated Defensive Electronic Countermeasure System (IDECM) for the U.S. Navy; the Advanced Medium Range Air to Air Missile (AMRAAM) program for the U.S. Air Force; the Longbow Missile and Radar programs for the U.S. Army; and the Standard Missile for the U.S. Navy. Its selling prices for defense subsystems and components range from approximately $100 to $200,000."
(the above is from CBS Market Watch)
My guess is there will be a lot more LT growth there in the future under the new Administration than analysts have even begun to factor into their LT estimates! So under 13? REMC is on the bargain counter IMHO.
Not into NANO. But been watching INSP for over a week and may yet grab some.
But as far as being aggressive? Go with your instincts. "Ya don't stop when you're hot"(g)
