The main reason I can come up about all this DD thing is the price of the hard drive is so low right now you can get a 3GB drive for 200 bucks. Before people needed to upgrade the storage since the initial box had only a 200MB drive. Now all the new PC is with at least a 1GB. Enough for quite a while. The growth will slow down and the price is just killing all the DD OEMs. Now figure it out what is in store for APM and RDRT... If WDC is planning to reduce capacity, what will happen to APM?
