In addition to my previous message, the news last night from BLS is being spun negatively which should hopefully present another trashing of telecom stock prices.

BLS's capital expediture guidance is unchanged from previous guidance. The number is lower for next year compared to the current year because the cap expenditures for their domestic wireless operations have been separated for accounting reasons going forward. As usual, the dim bulbs at Reuters and street.com have got it wrong. The BLS story is about a shift in Cap exp. from voice to data and the resulting impact on EPS. Not much different from the SBC story given at this time last year.

IMHO, if the telecom equips sell off tomorrow it will be another buying opportunity.
