We're just rolling along like we did before with plenty of lights and power. No one is even promoting conservation.

I have a feeling that the word conservation, is a dirty word in the Bush administration's limited vocabulary. Our state buckled up and conserved over 13% which Cheney said was impossible. He claimed we would never solve our energy problem using conservation methods............we all pitched in like good Californians and corrected the so- called problem.

Looking back, it would appear that Enron was attempting to get a huge,continuous cash glut from the state to bail itself out of it's "fuzzy math" accounting protocols.

Ca didn't need all that energy anymore and Jeffords defected from the GOP. ALl of a sudden the ballgame changed.
