I think clark injures dean as well among non-ideological anti-war folks who are confused by kerry, see lieberman as unelectable and perhaps are put off by gephardts protectionism. Thats the part of deans constituency that hilary must have as well. The extreme leftys will just assume that hilary will be radical and will accept her moves to the middle as a necessary evil recognizing political reality. In short they will give her a pass. HOw she wins an election though, is tough for me to imagine. I wonder if she appeals to moderate, independent women? Have the soccer moms forgiven her? My daughter is salivating at the opportunity of voting for her. I am not sure of how my wife feels however. Do we know how these women will actually vote as opposed to what they say to hubby to keep the marriage intact. mike
