Dear George, there was not an intentional run for the hot list. I have an equally long memory, although I have participated in other runs for the top that remained fun and met some very nice people in the process. The reference to the hot list is because Patrick Slevin jokes about smooches, "Gee, not in front of the guys!" Yesterday he noted that with the thread on the hot list, the guys were certainly watching and might not let him play stickball with them anymore. So JXM and I have been teasing him back. I don't give a damn if this thread is on the hot list or not. OTOH, I'd rather see something this happy and friendly near the top than some of the more rancorous ones.
