Thx John. Appreciate the positive post.

But I've got no problem acknowledging my errors.

In fact, got a chance to admit a dumb mistake tonight(G). Perhaps you didn't notice but Timelord and Greywolf set me straight on that Albanian wildcat (LOILY has a piece of) being on land NOT offshore. And I'm glad they did!

Don't know where the hell I got the idea it was being drilled out in the Adriatic Sea?, lol.

If you're back to 90% cash after getting those kinds of results in a period of weeks, then you do a lot more ST work than I do and are pretty good at it.

Most of my work is Intermediate term holding periods where I can work a trend for awhile. Since Sept/Oct, haven't had anything but a lot of wipsaws in the fall then that good ST rally just before Christmas into the beginning of this year in the patch stocks. Played that profitably in a few stocks, but it's not my style to do a lot of ST work, John.

So put in the proper context. The answer is no. It's not a mistake to follow my investment plan and stick to my style, John.

I've posted many times (most recently just a few days ago) that I don't have "the time, energy or talent" to be an active ST trader. And that doesn't bother me. Am very happy with the more laid back approach I use. After 2 record years in a row, maybe I'll underperform this year. Such is life(g).
