You are learning. Intel has Xeon. Other than that why do you think Intel is scramblin' to get the MHZ up on the Floppermine? Hint, MHZ sells (TM-McMannis). They know, they can't keep the ASPs up if they can't keep up with Athlons speed. Just look at Guotmamas price pages.
Before Athlon, Intel could rake AMDs ASPs over the coals with the Celeron and make it up with Pentium III and Xeon. Now all they have is Xeon. They do have a smaller die size and more capacity. The lack of the later concerning AMD probably prevents a price war between the Athlon and Floppermine at this time.
