Dear (Sweet) Patricia- Think about what's happening here ... please.

You refer to people such as me as "coming into our group," "like party crashers," "[who] like to break things up," and so much more in a similar vein. Meanwhile, Tim speaks as the weary Saviour, besieged on all sides by infidels trying to destroy His noble experiment, to assail and harass His flock ... while He wishes only to find for you all a place where the grass is ever green, the sun shines every day, youth is eternal, and where you can live in peace and harmony all the days of your life. But the wicked and the vile constantly thwart Him.

It is all so dramatic. So epic. Such an awesome struggle pitting the faithful against the unbelievers. Why, it is virtually Biblical. Reminiscent of Moses. Reminiscent of the Mormon trek in the 1800's to find a sanctuary where the flock could be ridden of the heretics, once and for all.

The only trouble is ... this is all being played out in a fishbowl. On an internet CHAT line. A public venue open to all who happen to drop by for a look-see, and open for comment by any who pay their nominal fee. A place where I have every bit as much right to be as you. Patricia, this is ONLY A CHAT LINE. If your group truly wants to be left alone, why do all keep discussing it here, where every word you say is being read by tens of thousands, maybe millions? Why don't you stop all these public posts (which invite reply) and just converse in your code? Better yet, why converse here at all? Why not just talk among yourselves through email? Why do you all insist on acting this out on a stage before half the world's population?

I will say this to you: If your group departs on the trek to the Promised Land, I assure you that none of the "outsiders" who have shown up on this thread will attempt to follow you. You will get your wish. You will be left alone.

I truly believe that you deserve goodness to follow you all the days of your life. But not people like me. And they won't, I promise you.
