That means we won't see 650 MHz Athlons until Q4 at the earliest, and in very limited quantities. 700 MHz Athlons won't be available until Q1 at the earliest, once again in very limited quantities.

So in other words ...

Q4: 600 MHz Coppermine (high volume) vs. 650 MHz Athlon (limited volume)

Q1: 667 MHz Coppermine (high volume) vs. 700 MHz Athlon (limited volume)

Yep, I guess AMD will still have the MHz lead, but that won't amount to more than mere bragging rights. AMD has other things to worry about besides giving Jerry "Business customers don't care about Intel's dancing clean room apes" Sanders more reason to shoot his big mouth off.
