Video Display Acquires Assets of AmPro Corporation ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 1, 2000--Video Display Corporation (NASDAQ-NMS:VIDE - news) today announced the acquisition of substantially all of the assets including manufacturing and support capabilities, parts inventories, product designs, patents and all intellectual property of the AmPro Corporation of Melbourne, Florida. The Company simultaneously announced the formation of PARAGON DISPLAYS, a new division of Video Display Corporation headquartered in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The new division specializes in custom solutions for training rooms, board rooms, teleconferencing, flight training simulators, command and control centers, air traffic control, ship simulators, process status displays, integrated home theater, etc.
Paragon Displays' experienced staff includes David Mutchler as President and Marcial Vidal as V.P. of Engineering.
