I have a story related to this.

The guy who turned me onto online trading at work was a real government tenured shirker, urr worker. He started trading in 1997 and entered his first order. Not seeing any confirmation, he reentered the order.

Well, it turned out he had gotten both orders filled, putting him at the limit of his margin. He didn't realize his mistake for two weeks when he finally figured out how to read the numbers right.

His punishment? He had bought DELL at the bottom of its 1997 low and made a ton of dough in the next two years. Maybe you just made the trade of the year.

You never know.
