The President said he was putting new tough tariffs on Mexico next Monday. He said he was happy to do it. The reason is that Mexico was not doing enough help solve our invasion problem. His detractors were crying like their hearts would break and saying it will not work. You don't use tariffs to work out an immigration problem.
So what has happened? PRESIDENT TRUMP WINS AGAIN.
An agreement was reached near the final hour. Mexico will tighten it's Southern border to stop the influx of invaders from the South. Those who are already at our border and who apply for asylum will remain in Mexico until their asylum is granted.

What does this mean for the markets? They will probably launch higher, not that the prospect of the tariffs had any negative effect on the markets last week. The launch, if it happens, will be a continuation of last weeks strong move and could be short-lived in light of last weeks advance. As you should be aware markets do correct.

It is of little importance to the trader. As a trader, I am long from last week with a trailing stop in preparation for the inevitable correction that will eventually come. Profits are allowed to run and are locked in and protected.

The odds of [3] reaching at least 3712 are 83%.
