Yes, that is really the thesis. And it is hard to deal with because people without much education get defensive. I have talked to few people who said college did not change the way the see they world dramatically. The bottom line is the human species needs education to function well. The mind needs information to build software packages to solve problems. Otherwise all they have is genetic hardware which only takes one so far.
