In talking about cancer drugs, I did not mean to say that their is no significant profit to be made. Novel and effective anticancer drugs could have sales of 100-300 million per year, which would certaintly be signivicant for a company like GERN. More realistically, you might expect sales of 20-100 million for a new drug. These values pale in comparison to those used for chronic conditions which often lead to blockbuster type drugs with sales of >1000 million per year (Zantac, Acyclovir, etc.). On the off-topic of Herpes and treatments for Herpes (Acyclovir) Question: What is the difference between Herpes and true love? Answer: Herpes is forever.
