>> You might want to check out MB Lite @ $115/mo
Yes, thanks, I was just asking about that. However, I'm more in Zeusspaul's camp, I think; that is, I'd like a way to ease into the whole thing on a part-time basis.
I just can't allocate more than a very few (at most) days per quarter to it with anything like the attention that's required, even though I do have some flexibility in my workday.
I already have (more or less) real time quotes, real meaning however often Datek wants to update 'em <G>, which, despite the bad press they're getting lately, is not really too bad, most of the time. Nevertheless MB Lite sounds interesting and I will keep following it.
Actually, MB isn't so high if you take the point of view (which is true enough) that 20 tickets a month (which reduces the price to $100) isn't very much. It sure sounds like a lot to a guy who's traded maybe 15 times in the most active month of his life, though.
BTW, I have an account a Yamner, and Steve (and others there) do indeed work the orders for you. Their basic commission is $35 +2 cents a share. So? All it takes is a 1/16 improvement either side.
(If I continue this line of reasoning much further, I'll be signing up for MB Monday morning <GGG>.) |
