Idaho Consolidated completes staking at Stillwater

Tue 18 Jul 2000 News Release
Mr. Del Steiner reports
Idaho Consolidated Metals has completed staking an additional 173 claims in
the Stillwater complex. This increases Idaho's land position by 2,200 acres
to approximately 30,000 acres.
The newly staked claims consist of 39 mill sites located northwest of Black
Butte to facilitate development of the eastern portion of the Stillwater
complex. Located east of Fishtail Creek are 78 lode claims that extend
Idaho's claim block by three miles. An additional 56 lode claims were
staked on the western end of the complex in the Blakely Creek area.
Idaho Consolidated staked the 78 lode claims based on geological mapping
and sampling during the 1999 field season and confirmed by the preliminary
interpretation of recent geophysical results, which indicate an eastern
extension of the Stillwater complex. Currently, the company is permitting
four drill holes to test for the eastern extension of the J-M Reef. The
Blakely Creek claims cover a four-mile-long, very strong electromagnetic
conductor detected by the geophysics in an area not previously explored due
to glacial gravel and talus. This strong conductor is one of four indicated
by the geophysics, none of which have been sufficiently explored.
"I am pleased that the geophysics was effective in locating additional
areas of potential mineralization and that the company was able to increase
its land holdings on the Stillwater complex," said Del Steiner, president
and chief executive officer of Idaho Consolidated.
The previously announced drill program is well under way and the first
drill hole was successfully completed to a depth of 500 feet, with very
good core recovery. Presently the drill is at a depth of 450 feet in the
second hole. Assays are pending.
