I hope you are right and wish you the best of luck in trading it profitably! I am a bit of a fish out of water here. For me, the concept of short term trading is tax law based. I see up to 364 days as short term. Though I covet the benefit of that 20% tax rule which kicks in thereafter, I've found that lots of tradable cycles seem to optimize at about 9 months. So its "short term" for me to call for a QQQ above 75 in the next 6 months and am content to wait it out.

My thoughts on the 26th. I think he is premature by a day. I think the 27th-29th will be the explosive period. I think institutions will jump into tech during the 3 day settlement window prior to yearend where they can acquire unsettled positions yet perhaps not report them for their "yearend" positioning reports. That would put Wed as the first day of that unique little window. Private traders in advance of that situation should arrive on Tuesday. I see Thursday as the peak volume in this short wave of activity. Yet I see it as lower volume holiday activity compared to a bullish January that I expect to follow. Enjoy the anticipation.
