Tom & thread, I've spread out the Tarot cards, the chicken bones, and the tea leaves and here is what they tell me: We are close to a bounce. It may have already happened yesterday, but I doubt it; I don't think we've seen the end of the 7s yet. I still need confirmation of an uptrend. That would be a close above 8 1/2 today or tomorrow. More likely: we go back to the low 7s in the next few trading days. The downside risk at that level is minimal. I'll be shooting fish in a barrel then. I take back the 15 prediction and replace it with a 12 in 2 months. We'll have some trouble at 12; if not, it's 15. And if none of this happens, don't blame me -- blame the chicken bones. <g>
