Whenever I hear someone state they are against something whether it be abortion or the death penalty or vaccines, gun control etc. I always ask myself what might be their thoughts if someone close to them were affected by that decision they appose.

It seems people are often against things which seem distant from them at the time. But often radically change when it touches close to them.

Just a thought!
