From $2.36 when I last posted, MCP was up 8% today... to $0.72... for no apparent reason. MCP share prices have been trimmed by half since November, when it posted a loss that greatly exceeded expectations.

As predicted, they went back to the well and sold more shares...

The % of shares in shorts is remarkably close to the % institutional ownership... go figure.

The debt of $1.6 billion is larger than the value, at $1.48 billion... and its not clear that they'll be able to service the debt on current trends.

How do they ever get back in the green ? How long can they twist in the wind before... something breaks ?
