Cohen & Co. analyst Keith Bossey initiated coverage of Ariad Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ARIA) at a "strong buy." Bossey said that Ariad has developed a "world class" research facility in functional genomics and signal transduction technology. Bossey expects the company to report a loss of 47 cents in 1997.
