Smith of the California Superior Court of Marin County issued a final ruling denying the Defendants' demurrers and motions to dismiss under California's Anti-SLAPP law. Jonathan Johnson, Overstock.com's senior vice president, legal, said, "This is a big win for Overstock, but not an unexpected one. We have said all along that the Defendants' motions were nothing more than a desperate attempt to prevent the case from ever reaching discovery."
