"there will be significant management realignments" --- John Young

Young is my new target since Marengi is history.

All Marengi could manage about the small network market was "we need to revitalize our position in this market." Translated into English that means 'I counted on our major accounts to pull me through and gosh it just didn't happen, now what do I do' As a salesman he probably has visions of driving between Boise and Portland peddling Rogaine for the rest of his life. What a bust. Six months of the biggest chance he ever had and he blew it. He probably got his marketing advice from Peter Troop.

That brings me to Young. This SOB is the real SOB. He gambled this company on no vision and no balls and marked time for six months. Just who and what is this Mackenzie/Novell team that interviewed VARs etc. and just what sort of reorganization are we going to see? We don't want you to do the reorg MR. Young, we want you to retire the hell out of Novell yourself. Resign!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The weaknesses in Novell that I have posted here since September are now hoisted up on the flagpole for all to see.
