New users are no longer buying Macs, they go for Compaqs or UMax. I
disagree with whoever was asking here for low priced Macs. Forget it, the money for Apple is in high end Macs. If you want to attack the low end try NCs.

While I admire the way you lay it all on the line with statements like this, time is only authoritative source for such suppositions. I believe we (you included) will see many more first-time computer buyers going Mac over the next year. But, again, time will tell; I can wait.
