*Correction of Post* In my post # 7994 above, the posted article wrongly attributed a quote to Peter Mardahl. I received an e-mail from Mr. Mardahl via the webmistress, in which he states that the quote was wrongly attributed to him. I apologize Peter, I only re-posted the published article. Everyone on the thread should be aware that published articles often contain errors. Here's the gist of Peter's e-mail. ------------------------------------------------ The article techstocks.com incorrectly atrributes this quote to me: -------- Peter Mardahl of the University of California, Berkeley, summed up one view in an Internet newsgroup posting: "It's vapor right now, but if you want to sell other vapor against it in 1997 you better have damn fast vapor." -------- Those words are actually those of Burkhard Neidecker-Lutz, of DEC. In the usenet post referred to, I stated that I was reposting words written originally by Burkhard Neidecker-Lutz. Could you please pass this on to the author with the request that he be more careful about attribution in the future? Regards, Peter Mardahl
