I'm sure USRX has something brewing ... but their future over the next few years is based on upgrades to 28.8, 33.6, and "X2."

Statistics show that there are still a lot of people stuck at 14.4 and below. Given that widespread ADSL deployment is 3 years away at best, USRX is betting their next few years on their core technology. I think they will be successful with this strategy in the short to medium term.

However I wouldn't be surprised to hear a significant ADSL announcement from them sometime in 1997, or even an outright purchase of one of the smaller players. They are a smart company with great management.
