Reminds me of my childhood when sand boxes were everywhere. Touching / eating obviously contaminated by dogs, cats, wild life sand was considered part of everyday life. Much like kids walking to school or taking public transportation to get there. Now society attempts to protect kids from virtually everything even remotely dangerous thus depriving them from learning life skills.
