The average voter is going to vote for the person they believe will give them better pay, cheaper health insurance and better retirement benefits.

If a person is looking to a government bureaucrat for these things, they are going to be extremely disappointed. Our government is flat broke and reflects populist ideas about economics, not realistic ones.

And you can't blame them because many of them work 3 jobs a week and can't pay their rent.

Again, no bureaucrat is going to solve that problem. I think most people who work hard recognize this. It is primarily those who don't work that hard who look to government for a solution.

I worked in a steel mill when I was in college. Guys can't do that anymore.

Talk to the job killing unions about that.
